UCSF Mission Bay Building 19A

Edgemoor Real Estate Services, and its partner McCarthy Cook & Co, are exclusively negotiating a lease-leaseback agreement with the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) to develop, finance, design, construct, and manage the new Building 19A on UCSF's Mission Bay Campus. While the agreement terms are being finalized, the team, including Skidmore Owings & Merrill and Clark Construction, will continue to meet with user and community groups to progress the design so that construction can begin in late 2009. Expected delivery of the project is 2011.

Building 19A will house two major UCSF neuroscience program groups: the Neurodegenerative Disease Research group and the Keck Foundation Center for Integrative Neurosciences. The building will include clinical areas, research laboratories and office space.
