Route 460 Corridor Improvements Project

In response to VDOT's Solicitation for Conceptual Proposals for the U.S. Route 460 Corridor Improvements Project, Edgemoor has formed MultiModal Solutions, LLC-a partnership of leading public-private partnership and transportation developers, including Edgemoor Infrastructure, Clark Construction Group, Shirley Contracting Company, Autostrade S.p.A, and Kiewit. MMS proposes to create a master planned Route 460 Transit Corridor. Route 460 will be a new 55-mile four-lane, limited access highway with modifications to the existing Route 460 interchange with Interstate I-295 in Prince George County and proceeding southeasterly through Sussex, Southampton, and Isle of Wight Counties. The new Route 460 will terminate in the City of Suffolk with a reconstruction or addition to the existing Route 460/ Route 58 interchange. A total of nine (9) interchanges will be built or converted.
