Project
Loudoun Civic and Transit Center

In November 2006, Loudoun County requested partnership proposals to deliver a government campus complex, including Class A office space, additional land for future expansion and parking. Edgemoor Real Estate Services formed a team, Loudoun Civic and Transit Center, LLC (LCTC), to develop the project and focus solely on meeting both the immediate and long term needs of Loudoun County. The team is comprised of some of the most qualified and well-respected firms in their fields, including the architecture firms HOK and DBI and the civil engineering firm Patton Harris Rust. The LCTC proposal has been submitted in cooperation with the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation, a philanthropic organization whose mission is to enhance educational opportunities for young people in Loudoun County and across the Commonwealth. This solution furthers County transportation planning, resolves a workspace shortage through a flexible 100-year solution, creates a center for civic activity and a source of community identity and pride, provides the County economic value now and into the future and delivers a world-class design.
