Lee Village at Silver Lake

Lee Village at Silver Lake, a mixed-use development anchored by a 46,000 SF library, provides important community amenities in the form of the new library, attractive workforce and senior housing, activated open space, public meeting spaces and a café. Fairfax County selected Edgemoor Real Estate Services to develop, design, build and finance the Project. In addition to delivering the new regional library to the community almost a decade earlier than planned, Lee Village at Silver Lake incorporates 166,000 SF of attractive and much-needed workforce and senior housing, and preserves a large public open space in the form of a vibrant “Community Green.” This project enables the County to realize the maximum benefits of its land and incorporates smart growth and new urbanism principles, with no impact on County capital funds.
