Governor George Deukmejian Courthouse

The 545,000 SF new state building, the first social infrastructure project in the U.S. to be delivered under an innovative performance based contract, will house 31 court rooms, as well as courts administration and County lease space. Additionally, the project includes the renovation of an existing parking garage, as well as underground secure judge parking. Edgemoor has worked closely with the design-builder Clark Construction, and the designer, AECOM to create a development, design and construction solution that satisfies the objectives of the Administrative Office of the Courts. Additional team members include Meridiam Infrastructure as project sponsor and Johnson Controls as the facilities manager. This project was officially awarded in June of 2010 and closed in December 2010.
