Mr. Martin provides executive oversight for all of Edgemoor’s development activities. With over 20 years of development and construction management experience, Mr. Martin has been the Development Executive on a number of projects from concept to close-out including Trinity Centre, Crown Center, Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School, South County Secondary School and the IRS Headquarters where he established and managed budgets, managed and coordinated design and construction activities, transaction structuring, financing management and provided general project oversight. Mr. Martin has experience with governmental planning and the permitting approvals process, administering change orders and processing payment applications.
Mr. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic and State University and a Master of Business Administration from George Mason University. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is active with the Urban Land Institute, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
