Mr. Baltz provides legal, real estate, and financial oversight to all of Edgemoor pursuits. With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Baltz has represented a variety of private clients in the real estate industry in complex transactions, including construction contracts and law, project finance, real estate development and public-private partnerships. Prior to joining the Clark organization, he was a partner at the law firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, an Executive Vice President of Development for The Orr Company and a partner in Shaw Pittman’s technology, real estate and government contracts practice groups. Mr. Baltz earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from The American University and a law degree from The College of William and Mary. He is a member of the Virginia, District of Columbia, New York and Vermont bars. Throughout his career, Mr. Baltz has authored a variety of articles on a wide range of topics. In addition, he is a frequent lecturer in the business and law communities.
